Well it's been a few weeks since I have blogged. The spring semester has ended for me at Bradley and now I am teaching May Interim, doing research, and doing more paperwork than I would like. Kris and Katie finish grades 11 and 4, respectively, this week at Peoria Christian School. Both girls will be in various camps this summer, and Kris has begun rehearsals for the Cornstock Theater production of "Seussical: The Musical". Karen will soon be moving from assistant director to director at A+ Children's Academy. Despite the busy transition into summer we have carved out some fun time. Noteworthy events in my opinion include: a twelve-mile bike ride with Katie on the Rock Island Trail, a visit to Funk's Grove on Mother's Day between out family and the Blands, a quick hike to a small waterfall in the woods near home, and a trip to the Quad Cities area with Karen and Katie.
