Remember that train wreck along Kickapoo Creek on Labor Day weekend? (See previous blog entries for pictures.) Well I was looking up something on Google Earth recently and was surprised to find a view of the almost-completed cleanup efforts. Check out the following coordinates:

Tonight we ran errands, rode the train in the mall, and Katie got a hair trim. We like the haircut and hope it stays looking nice for a while. Karen commented that she looks a little more like a boy. I replied that her hair looked like that of one of our female guides in China. About a minute later, a bell-ringer expressed confusion about whether Katie was a boy or girl - ah well....
