Quick trip to Madison, WI

On Saturday we drove up to Madison, WI, to visit our friends the Kaeders (we have known them since college).  We visited the University of Wisconsin (where I did postdoctoral research and taught a couple classes a decade and half ago) and later they took us to the Prime Quarter.  Today we had hoped to go boating on the lakes, but the water was too high so we went to the zoo in Madison (as I have said before - a good FREE zoo) and picnicked.
