Karen traveled from Austin, TX (predicted high temp 74), to Sturgeon Bay, WI (predicted high temp 36) today. The cold front coming through tonight will cool things down here for a while. [A 1 am thunderstorm bounced Katie and I out of bed - though not as bad as the one last week, it has gotten a bit colder.] I certainly did not mind having a warm spell over the past few days. Stopped by the UT turtle ponds a few days ago and fed a turtle from my hand. The lotus plants are all dead for the winter, but they looked kind of interesting.
