Last Satuday through Tuesday, we spent time at a beach house on the west end of Galveston Island. The nice house was rented by our Peoria friends the Blands. We all had fun hanging out together, especially at the beach. The weather was often rainy or overcast, but it minimized the sunburn! We saw various sea creatures, including lots of shells and about four kinds of jellyfish. We also saw a number of Portugese Men of War (one stung a child on the beach). On the way out of town on Tuesday we stopped by the seawall and rode a four-wheeled, four-person bicycle.
