From Thursday, Sept. 22 to Saturday, Sept. 24, we spent time at my brother's cabin in the Cascades. Great to be back in the forest. Salmon were running along the Skykomish River. We had campfires, enjoyed the hot tub, and set up a couple of horseshoe pits. Katie and I found a big leaf maple leaf that was 18" across (by her feet in the picture). We could occasionally see snow in the distant mountains.
